Libre is a symbolic watercolor from my Avalon Project series, created during a period of transition and self-discovery. The composition interweaves three central motifs: sunflowers, carnations, and a hummingbird.
The sunflowers represent Slovakia, my roots and origins.
The carnations symbolize Spain, a place of new beginnings.
The hummingbird in flight is a self-portrait, fragile yet determined, embodying the courage to leave the past behind and embrace transformation.
Painted in watercolor, the work captures delicacy and strength. The hummingbird hovers between two worlds, carrying the tension of departure and the hope of renewal. Libre is, ultimately, a meditation on migration, identity, and resilience: an invitation to see change not as a loss, but as a liberation.

1. Original: This is the original work I created and on which the other two products are based. This is usually the most expensive option, as once the original work is sold, I no longer make copies.
2. Fine art copy: A fine art copy, or high-quality print/reproduction, is a durable, high-quality print of an original work of art or photograph, produced with specialized printers and fade-resistant inks on acid-free paper or canvas. The process strives for exceptional accuracy in color and detail, allowing the artist to create limited editions to distribute their work widely while maintaining high aesthetic and archival quality. This is usually the most affordable option, but I handle packaging, shipping, and quality control myself before sending it to its destination.
3. Replica: This is an exact, hand-made copy of the original work. It may vary in size and color. This option is somewhere between the most expensive and the most affordable, and is usually the one that best suits the client's final desire or need.
Note: In some cases, not all of these options are available. If you are interested in purchasing one of the unavailable options for the project, you can contact me through the contact section.
